Materials were found in various locations in Springfield House with no information regarding the acquisition of the material.

BOX E0037:
contains photocopies of a photo of the Gananoque Railway Station, the Heaslip Store in Escott, and Main Street Escott, in addition to a photo of a hockey team with accompanying sheet with names, a photo of hay harvesting with horse drawn implements, a group photo of possible migrant agricultural workers, a school class photo year and location unknown, a photo of a horse drawn Massey Binder operated by a possible Mr. Hefernan of Athens, a photo of five unknown persons circa 1950

• a newspaper article by Steve Milosevic titled “Springfield House combines yesterday and today in functional ambience” from the Gananoque Reporter, September 30, 1981, a copy of Leeds and Grenville News and Views October 1993, a cartoon mounted on cardboard of a School Master sent to Norris Mallory by Charles Mallory, minutes of the Rockport Red Cross Society from September 28, 1939 to October 13, 1941, an article titled “Escott Defends OMB Award of Island, January 19, 1965,
• obituaries for Thomas Newell, Mrs. Allen Collison (Orpha Boyd), Mrs. George Jack (Mabel Webster),
• a photocopy of an indenture between John Phillips and Reverend John Travers Lewis regarding Lot 13 & 14, Concession 2 for the site of a church, a booklet titled “Board of Examiners District no. 2 Leeds”, an article from the Globe and Mail, April 15, 2011 titled “Parks Canada hands heritage soldiers a new weapon”, an autograph book belonging to Bid Donovan 1895, a “Statement of Receipts and Expenditures, Assets and Liabilities of the Township of the Front of Leeds and Lansdowne for the year ending Dec. 15 1931, an article from the Recorder and Times May 17, 1987 titled “International Bridge undergoing renovations”,
• a copy of a photograph of the Rockport Cheese Factory and St. Brendan’s, two photographs of Hickory Lodge on postcards, a photograph of the Island View Hotel, a photograph of Ed Huck Marina,
• an Indenture between James and Rosetta Kenedy (sic) and Robert Vanston regarding Lot 11 & 12, Concession 2, a photocopy of an Annual Statement from the Mallory Town Cheese Factory 1912, Annual Statements from the Springfield Cheese Factory 1916, 1917 and 1920, a receipt envelop from the Springfield Cheese Factory July 1909 for J.A. Shea, a copy of the 1922-23 Year Book of the Ottawa Normal School,
  -copies of the Debates of the House of Commons 1880,
• a will for George White, tax assessment statements for William Edger 1887 and 1888, various deeds, mortgages and other documents regarding the Warren, Trickey,Hutchison and Foley Families of Escott among others and a hand drawn card with a picture of a black cat and the caption "December 30, 1925. Daddy from Rita. 'That black cats are lucky I've heard people say So here's a fine big one for you May it bring you fulfillment (sic) of all you desire And may all that you wish come true'"!
