Fonds contains 2 sets of TIARA maps titled Plan of the Canadian Islands in the River St. Lawrence (3 maps, 6 total located in Cabinet 3 Drawer 1), 2 sets of index cards used to create the maps (1 alphabetical, 1 by lot #), 1 copy of Report to the People, 1 copy of 4 old photographs of fishermen, ca. 800 slides related to TIARA research, 8 audio cassettes regarding the creation of TIARA by Warren Almand, Mike Sykes, Wilson Goff, St Lawrence Islands National Park, and reports. A copy of the Nominating Document for the St Lawrence River to be included in the Canadian Heritage Rivers System prepared by Tiara.
2011-024A accrual received Aug 2015: Accrual consists of: 6 large scrapbooks of newspaper clippings about TIARA activities from Oct 1975 to June 1977 – 2 large scrapbooks of cartoons and letters to the editor by or about TIARA from Oct 1975 to December 1976. – 2 steel 5x8” card files containing survey data on punch cards. – A homemade drilling guide to record data on the punch cards. – 6 file folders of input forms to surveys by TIARA from local residents -- old (or reproduction) map of Westminster Park on Wellsley Island (encapsulated) -- original cartoon by Gene Day showing “Porks Canada” gobbling up the 1000 Islands. (encapsulated) – W. E.
