Album compiled by Cathie Shine for TIARA, given to Douglas MacIntosh for deposit in archives : contents of a three ring binder, removed from the binder and bound with cotton tape for economy of storage. It contains several plastic covered adhesive pages with the contents adhere to the extent that they could not be removed without damage. Item consists of book “The Morning Goeth Forth and Other Poems” by Britton Strangways, 1924, with a plate saying it was presented to the Gananoque Narrows Lighthouse by the Public School, Chesley, Ontario, and identifying the Upper Canada Tract Society. It was donated to the Lansdowne Historical Society by Robert Liddell, the son of the last lighthouse keeper.

Item consists of “Clerk’s Voters List Book” for Front of Leeds & Lansdowne, in which is recorded the names of everyone who is supposed to receive a copy of the voters list, including County Judges, municipal councilors, treasurer, sheriff, clerk of the peace, postmasters, head masters of all schools, county clerk, MP, MLA, defeated candidates for MP and MLA in the last election, and the reeve. The lists are complete from 1901 to 1924, during which time the Township Clerk was J D W Darling.
