This fond consists of the Charter, records, and effects of the Independent Order of Foresters, Court Lyndhurst. The fonds is organized into the following series:
Fonds consists of records from Long Point School, or School Section Number 5. This includes minutes of Trustee’s Meetings (1862-1875, 1881, 1885-1888), accounts records (1862-1873, 1878-1939), daily attendance registers (1895-1927) and a copy of a photograph of the Long Point School class of 1953.
One court procedure book for the First Division Court for the United Counties of Leeds and Grenville, November 1889-October 1891. There is an alphabetical index by last name in the front of the book. These procedures mostly deal with civil suits.
CDROM contains 160 files regarding research conducted in the attempt to acquire the property and the subsequent designation of the property as a National Historical Site, a copy of the Permit for Demolition of the Darling House with attached conditions, letters, maps and related materials, in JPEG format with the exception of one PDF file.
DVD contains a number of film clips of the Seeley's Bay area dating from the 1930's to the 1950's, including the Fair, the International Bridge, Fort Henry and the ferry boat Frontenac.
