Buell Family

File contains two photocopies of a diary by William D. Buell, photocopies of newspaper articles and obituaries, photocopies of typewritten extracts from Voter's Lists and Censuses, two copies of tombstone inscriptions regarding Buells buried the the Buell Cemetery and the La Rue Cemetery, and a photocopy of a description of the Buell Homestead. File also contains a photocopy of an article in which W.D. Buell mentions a heavy snow storm on Grenadier Island in 1823, typescript extracts of a voters list, 1883, a census, 1848, and a marriage announcement, 1855, as well as two photocopies of obituaries for Richard Buell and obituaries for George Gary Buell and William D. Buell.

Marsh Family

File contains a correspondance regarding Lot#1 on Grenadier Island and the time frame in which Darius Marsh owned the lot. There is also a map of the lots and a copy of a newspaper article titled "Doings at the Westcott Cottage."

Massey Family

File contains many articles of interest on the William Massey family and their descendents, namely the Charles A. Massey family; Thomas Massey family; Effie Massey Slate family in the form of marriage and anniversary announcements; death announcements; family history ; genealogy documents; a transcript of a T.I.A.R.A. interview with Lillian Massey and newspaper articles pertaining to the aforementioned Massey families.Also an article on Tom Massey titled "Tom Massey leaves behind a boatload of memories" by L J Matheson and Steve Pettibone from the Gananoque Reporter Oct. 16, 2010.

File contains an article about Mary and Ernest Poole as they look over Jane Allen's book on Grenadier Island. There is an article about the "Days in Riverside Community." There is another article about "Grenadier Island couple, born and raised there, celebrate their 60th anniversary at home: Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Poole." File contains voters list from 1883. There is a copy of an article about the Mallorytown School Graduates dated 1950. The copy of the article about the Largest Class to Graduate from General dated 1953.
