Account book believed to be from Gananoque Mechanic’s Institute for 1892 to 94. It is in a strange form of notation not understood by Archives staff. The same book was reused in 1916 to list and number 802 members, probably of the library. -- Cash book for Gananoque library from 1898-1951. -- Hardcover 2-ring binder containing typed minutes of the Gananoque Public Library Board 1927-1933. – Day book for circulation desk petty cash 1962-69. – Ontario Teachers Manual of Household Science in Rural Schools, second printing 1921. – Hardbound book “Census of Canada 1941, Vol. 8, Agriculture”

A hardbound ledger book inscribed Wilhelmina Sarah Eliza Green/ Lyndhurst/Ont./1896. It has been used as a scrap book with clippings and engravings of stories pasted in all but a few pages. Those pages not obscured show transactions from 1872 and ’73 in strange forms of notation not yet deciphered. Only 2 pages have clippings pertaining to Lyndhurst -- Gananoque Reporter, issue of Jan 15, 1881, containing obituaries for James Kirker, William Birmingham, James Hunt, and Daniel Hepworth (encapsulated.` -- Gananoque Reporter issue of June 18, 1881, containing obituary for Rev. John Carroll. (encapsulated) – Brockville Evening Recorder issue for May 12, 1906, containing an account of a prison escapee in the Rockport Escott area. – drawing of a crest for class of Science 1904 at McGill University, signed J Buicke Harvey. A book of carbon copies of tear-out reciepts from the Hartley Mill store in Seeley's Bay beginning Aug 23, 1923, to May 19, 1926. Shows the customer's name and the amount of payment, but no other particulars.

Leather bound “Letter Book” with tissue paper pages, containing hand written duplicate letters to customers and suppliers of the Gilbert Carriage Factory in Seeley's Bay. Contains 252 letters between April 1905 and July 1906, written by E M Bracken and initialed by G D Gilbert.

Large fabric covered hard cover ledger book from Hartley Mill store June 1939 to July 1940, with index.
