Item consists of extracts from a document entitled “Rideau Canal NHSC Submerged Cultural Resources Inventory”, prepared by Jonathan Moore and printed by Parks Canada 2005. It includes the preliminary pages i – xxii and 1 – 18, then p 37 to 82 dealing with the section of the canal between Upper Brewers and Jones Falls, then 221 -230 being the list of sources cited. It describes and illustrates the discovery and exploration and recording of all manmade structures and vessels submerged in the canal between Upper Brewers Lock and Jones Falls. – the west half of a plan of the 1000 Islands with names and alternate names of the islands, printed by TIARA, 1987.
